Travis Kelce shared his first public comments on Wednesday about his star-studded July 3 wedding to Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Kelce called the 1,000-guest celebration the best night of my life

The historic sports venue, widely known as the home of the New York Knicks, underwent a dramatic visual overhaul for the July 3 nuptials. Leaked photos and guest accounts detailed how the arena shed its athletic identity to become a secluded retreat. According to AMC CEO Adam Aron in a now-deleted post on X, the space featured peach and white drapery covering floors, walls, and ceilings.
Guests walked up a large staircase covered in a peach-colored velvet carpet, surrounded by light and dark pink curtains. Other areas featured white staircases adorned with lanterns and arched doorways with intricate light fixtures casting patterns along the walls. Large blown-up photographs of Swift and Kelce from ages one to their late teens lined the venue. A small portion of Madison Square Garden was cordoned off to house roughly 15 rows of chairs surrounded by real flowers and artificial trees, creating the feel of an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.
The Ceremony and A-List Guest List
The couple exchanged vows in front of about 1,000 attendees, including their families, close friends, and a roster of prominent figures. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, while the guest list featured celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, and Tom Brady, alongside many of Kelce’s teammates. The public learned of the marriage at exactly 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, when video ads outside the venue lit up with JUST&T MARRIED!

Aron characterized the vows as long, entertaining, personal, charming, and emotional, noting that both Kelce and Swift spoke about how they met, their commitment to each other, and the unification of their families.
