Lincoln Stars Acquire Defenseman Colin Feeley from Muskegon Lumberjacks
The Lincoln Stars made a notable roster adjustment on Tuesday, bringing 2008-born defenseman Colin Feeley into the fold. Lincoln Stars General Manager Nick Fabrizio announced the trade, which sends defenseman Feeley alongside a Phase I eighth-round pick in the 2027 USHL draft to the Stars in exchange for forward Landon Jackman and a 2027 Phase I fifth-round selection.
This transaction remains subject to conditions as the club prepares for the middle stretch of the season. Feeley heads to Lincoln after logging 10 appearances with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Before breaking into the United States Hockey League, the young blueliner spent valuable time in the Canadian Hockey League, skating in 55 games for the Oshawa Generals.
Feeley Secures Ranking from Central Scouting
The Wyckoff, New Jersey native enters the Stars’ locker room with established scouting pedigree. NHL Central Scouting slotted Feeley as the 202nd ranked North American skater on their final rankings ahead of the 2026 draft cycle.
The USHL operates as the top Tier I junior hockey league in the nation, functioning as an essential proving ground where prospects refine their physical and tactical readiness before stepping onto NCAA Division I campuses or professional ice.
