Beginning July 17, 2026, Dubai will launch four new public bus routes and upgrade existing lines to improve transit efficiency. These modifications, announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), aim to enhance connectivity between residential and commercial zones while strengthening integration with the city’s metro network and feeder bus services.

Enhancing Operational Efficiency

Routes 36A and 36B will see portions of their paths between International City and Dubai Silicon Oasis canceled, with passengers directed to use the new routes 37A and 37B for travel to Academic City and Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Integration with the metro will be further bolstered by adjusting Route 67 to connect with the Oud Metha Bus Station instead of Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, while the Dubai Metro Green Line remains an option for reaching Bur Dubai. Route 84’s service will now terminate at the Insurance Market bus stop (south side) rather than Mall of the Emirates, with passengers traveling between Dubai Marina and Al Quoz encouraged to utilize the new Route 85.
Similarly, Route 88 will terminate at the Onpassive Metro bus stop (north side) instead of Umm Al Sheif Street, with Route 8 available for those heading to Dubai Internet City. Routes 96 and X94 will now travel via Al Yalayis/Jebel Ali Road instead of Expo Road to improve trip efficiency.
