A high-speed pursuit involving a Maine man ended in Concord, New Hampshire, shortly before 2 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, after the driver attempted to evade state police at speeds exceeding 100 mph. Jacob Lemery, 20, of Naples, Maine, was arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following the incident.
The Pursuit on I-93
The incident began in Bow when Trooper Benjamin Olmstead of the Troop D barracks spotted a 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling at 100 mph on northbound Interstate 93. Despite the activation of emergency lights and sirens for a traffic stop, Lemery continued to flee at a high rate of speed.
The chase transitioned off the highway at Exit 13 in Concord. According to police, the truck crossed over a concrete median on Manchester Street at the bottom of the ramp before re-entering I-93 northbound. Lemery continued to flee at speeds over 100 mph until the vehicle became disabled between Exits 16 and 17 due to damage sustained from the median crossing.

Following his apprehension, which was assisted by the Concord Police Department, Lemery faced a variety of charges. These include the felonies of possession of a controlled drug and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. He was also charged with the misdemeanors of reckless operation, disobeying a police officer, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with other motor vehicle offenses.
