Flowood Donor Center Hosts Final Halloween Blood Drive with Visa Gift Cards
Mississippi Blood Services is holding the final day of its Halloween Blood Drive on Saturday, October 31, 2026, running from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Flowood Donor Center located at 115 Tree Street in Flowood, Mississippi. The event offers special incentives for donors willing to give whole blood, platelets, or eligible double red cells as the organization faces a critical need for specific blood types.
Patients across Mississippi require 250 blood donations and 60 platelet donations daily, according to Mississippi Blood Services. To meet ongoing patient demands, the blood center set a goal to collect 1,500 blood donations across six days, with an urgent focus on securing A, B, and O blood types.
