This investigational, one-time, in-office, mutation-agnostic, optogenetic gene therapy is currently under FDA and PMDA review.

Platform Technology Drives Retinal Disease Treatments
MOGENRY utilizes Nanoscope’s multi-characteristic opsin platform to deliver a proprietary synthetic opsin gene to dense bipolar retinal cells. The treatment is designed to make surviving cells directly light-sensitive following photoreceptor loss, allowing patients to utilize remaining visual circuitry without requiring genetic testing, invasive surgery, or repeat dosing.
Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA) is among the other IND-ready initiatives, while a Phase 2 trial focusing on MCO for geographic atrophy is anticipated to launch in 2026.
