Trenton Ironhawks Host Halloween Hockey Night at CURE Insurance Arena
Professional hockey is officially back in Trenton, and the city’s newest team is celebrating the spooky season on ice. The Trenton Ironhawks are hosting Hockey Halloween Night this Saturday, October 31, at CURE Insurance Arena, featuring discounted tickets, a T-shirt giveaway, and family-friendly activities, the Trentonian reported.
The event marks a quick return to home ice for the Ironhawks following their historic inaugural home game on October 24, where they defeated the Adirondack Thunder 4-1 in front of a sold-out crowd of 7,032 fans. That matchup ended a 13-year drought of professional hockey in Trenton and drew national attention.
Hawk's Nest Tickets Cost $13 with Free Giveaways

Early arrivals will receive special promotional items. According to the Trentonian, the first 2,500 fans through the arena doors will get a free Ironhawks T-shirt courtesy of Princeton Brain & Spine. Additionally, the first 750 children entering the venue will receive free trick-or-treat bags.
Families can take advantage of safe trick-or-treating along the concourse throughout the evening. Both kids and adults are encouraged to wear costumes, and the arena has planned costume contests featuring prizes for participants.

The Halloween night matchup is a rematch against the Adirondack Thunder. On the ice, forward Kyle Penney leads the Ironhawks in scoring through their first three games, tallying three goals and two assists for five points. Meanwhile, New Jersey native Mikey Colella cemented his place in local sports history by scoring the first home goal in franchise history during the opening period of the October 24 opener.
Before returning to Trenton for Halloween, the Ironhawks hit the road for a two-game series against the Reading Royals at Santander Arena, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, and Friday, October 30.
