Entry Restrictions and the QR Code Dispute
The trouble began on July 30, 2026, when an incident was reported to the El Alamein police station. According to Masrawy, the confrontation erupted because two security workers—a security supervisor and an individual guard—refused to let a group of visitors enter a specific zone within the resort. The reason for the denial was straightforward: the visitors were not property owners.
Investigators established that the individuals blocked by security were merely apartment renters who lacked the required digital scanner for the restricted area. Rather than turning back, the renters attempted to force their way in, triggering a violent clash that left multiple people bruised and scratched.
Injuries and Police Action at the El Alamein Station
The brawl involved a total of seven participants divided into two distinct sides. According to Masrawy, the first party consisted of three men and two women, while the second party comprised the two resort security employees.
