Saba Mubarak stars in Crime in Zamalek, the third three-episode story of the television series Full Story, scheduled to premiere on Shahid on October 25, 2026. Directed by Mahmoud Abdel Tawab and written by Amr Samir Atef, the drama shifts from its predecessor’s investigation of a 2005 Minya massacre into a mysterious urban case.
Crime in Zamalek Arrives on Shahid in October
The television anthology series Full Story continues its first season with a new narrative titled Crime in Zamalek. Set to debut on October 25, 2026, across the Shahid MBC digital streaming platform, the production spans a focused three-episode arc. The project is steered by producer Magdy El-Hawary, who has overseen the structuring of the series around distinct criminal files.
At the center of the narrative is actor Saba Mubarak, who anchors the principal role. She is joined by Mohamed Ali Rizk in the character of Alaa, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Randa Kaadi, Ahmed Bahaa, and Hazem Ehab. The script is penned by Amr Samir Atef and directed by Mahmoud Abdel Tawab, widely known as Touba.
From True Crime Content to Scripted Drama
The entire anthology originates from real-world criminal files and true cases previously examined by content creator and director Sameh Sanad through his digital media project of the same name. Sanad’s project served as the foundation for the series, which was produced by Magdy El-Hawary.

Each entry in the first season operates independently, utilizing a revolving door of writers and directors tailored to the specific demands of each case. The opening narrative explored Hell’s Game under the direction of Islam Khairy and featured actor Mohamed Farrag. The second storyline transitioned the project into rural legal mysteries.
The Legal and Medical Debate Behind the Bani Mazar Predecessor
The arrival of the Zamalek narrative follows the conclusion of the second story, What Was Untold About Bani Mazar, which revisited a 2005 mass murder. That storyline dramatized a morning discovery on December 29, 2005, where 10 individuals across three neighboring homes were found slain in Shams El-Din village within Minya Governorate’s Beni Mazar center. Investigators noted that a slaughtered bird was left beside each body.

While the case generated intense public speculation due to conflicting accounts, the judicial path concluded without a conviction for the initial suspect.
Structure of the Five-Part First Season
Unlike traditional open-ended television formats, Full Story organizes its inaugural run into five distinct miniseries blocks, each assigned a dedicated creative team.
| Story Title | Key Cast & Crew | Core Subject |
|---|---|---|
| Hell’s Game | Mohamed Farrag, Islam Khairy | First season opening case |
| What Was Untold About Bani Mazar | Ahmed Abdel Wahab | 2005 Minya multi-family killings |
| Crime in Zamalek | Saba Mubarak, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mahmoud Abdel Tawab | Urban mystery in Cairo |
| Iblis’s Paradise | Nour El Nabawy | Fourth anthology arc |
| The Three Devils | Kholoud Younis (Director) | Final arc of the first season |
With ten different writers contributing to the broader framework—including Hani Sarhan, Engy Alaa, and Mohamed Soliman Abdel Malek—the series maintains a condensed three-episode format per case to sustain narrative tension as Crime in Zamalek prepares for its late October release.
