Hollywood star Jason Momoa marked the end of production on his latest movie, Copperhead, by performing a Halloween night concert in Oklahoma City. Taking the stage with his band Öof Tatatá at Fassler Hall, Momoa addressed the crowd during the event, telling the audience, This ain’t AI, I’m (expletive) here right now.
Concert Draws Fans Despite Weather
Despite gloomy Halloween weather, fans turned out to watch the actor perform live. While several attendees noted they were unfamiliar with the band’s musical catalog, they expressed excitement over seeing the star in concert.
I didn’t know anything about the music, so yeah, I’m excited to see this,
fan Amy Kelly said at the event. Another fan, Jacob Dever, added, I thought it’d be fun to see Jason Momoa in concert.

Community Impact and Film Presence
Residents reflected on what Momoa’s extended presence for the movie shoot meant for the local community. Todd Jackson voiced appreciation for the visit, stating, I’m glad that, like, someone of his stature will come through Oklahoma and, like, get back into the community here.
Dever also highlighted the regional importance of the production, noting, Obviously we have the Thunder, but, you know, it’s pretty cool that we could be a film state as well as a basketball state.
Farewell to Oklahoma City
As filming concluded and Momoa’s time in the city came to a close, local fans shared messages of thanks and appreciation.
Thanks for coming to Oklahoma,
Kim Densmore said. Arielle Jackson added, I hope you enjoyed Oklahoma City,
while Dever offered a final plea to the actor: Jason, love you, man. Please come back. Just come back to the city.
