Noblesville Boom Open Scrimmage: Free Tickets, Schedule, and Roster Debut

The Noblesville Boom will host a free, open intrasquad scrimmage for fans on Wednesday, November 4, at Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile, as reported by Fieldhouse Files. Doors open at 6 p.m. ET, and the scrimmage begins at 6:30 p.m.

The event marks the return of the Indiana Pacers G League affiliate to its home floor. Last year, local crowds filled the events center to experience the new arena for the very first time. Now, with the G League draft wrapped up on Saturday and training camp officially opening on Monday, the franchise is preparing to welcome supporters back for an early look at the 2026-27 squad.

Free Tickets and Youth Clinic Precede Public Scrimmage

Admission to the evening is free, though attendees must secure tickets in advance. Free tickets become available starting Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m.

Before the main scrimmage tips off, the organization is hosting a youth clinic tailored for children ages 6 to 14. Running from 5:15 to 6 p.m., space for the clinic is limited, and advance registration is required.

Once the main doors open at 6 p.m., the evening’s public itinerary includes:

  • Team and coaching staff introductions
  • The Boom intrasquad scrimmage
  • Autograph sessions with players
  • Photo opportunities with select players and team mascot Bobby the Bobcat
  • Face painting and balloon art along the concourse

A New Era Under Coach Bryce Taylor

Wednesday’s scrimmage will give supporters their initial view of a revamped coaching staff and roster. Bryce Taylor takes charge as head coach, earning a promotion on June 1 after spending the previous three seasons (2023-26) as an assistant under Tom Hankins.

Taylor’s staff features several fresh additions, including Herman Mandole, who arrives from the Sioux Falls Skyforce, and Connor McCaffery, who transitions to the G League after two seasons on Thad Matta’s staff at Butler following an earlier internship with the Pacers. Kelly Faris returns for her second season as an assistant coach, and Christian Siakam continues in his role as a coaching associate.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the coaching staff we’ve assembled,” Taylor said. “Herman, Connor, Kelly, and Christian each bring a unique perspective, valuable experience, and a diverse set of strengths to our team.”

The staff shares a collective emphasis on individual development and competitive rigor. “What unites us is a shared commitment to player development, collaboration, and competing at the highest level,” Taylor added. “We’re aligned with the vision and values of the Boom and Pacers.”

Boom Start Regular Season Against Windy City Bulls

Following the November 4 exhibition, the team will travel immediately to start the regular season. The Boom open their schedule on the road two days later, facing a back-to-back series against the Windy City Bulls.

The team returns to Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile shortly after for their official home opener on November 10 against the Iowa Wolves.
