Phoebe Bridgers’ live EP Live at Madison Square Garden is available exclusively via Tidal, capturing five tracks from her phone-free concert at the venue in June. The release includes versions of songs from her album Lost Weekend, such as “Lost Boys,” “Kill Me,” and “Long Lost Weekend,” an extended take on the title track.
The Madison Square Garden show, which sold out with a $1 ticket price, banned cellphones to create an “intimate and defining phone-free live moment,” according to Tidal. The EP’s tracklist includes “I Can’t Wait,” “Other Plans,” and a stripped-back version of “Long Lost Weekend.”
Exclusive Release via Tidal
Tidal’s exclusive release of Live at Madison Square Garden underscores its collaboration with Bridgers, allowing fans to access the EP without a subscription. The platform emphasized its commitment to artist control, noting that creators using Tidal Upload pay 0% platform fees. The EP features “Lost Boys,” “Kill Me,” “I Can’t Wait,” “Other Plans,” and “Long Lost Weekend,” with the latter including an extended version of the title track.
Phone-Free Concert Experience
The Madison Square Garden show, a phone-free pop-up event, was attended by fans who could revisit the performance through the EP. Bridgers’ decision to ban cellphones aimed to foster a more immersive concert atmosphere, with Tidal positioning the release as a way to “support artist ownership and fan connection.”
