Registration open for Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra Christmas concert tickets

Registration for the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square’s Christmas concert tickets opened Monday, Nov. 2, with a deadline of Nov. 15 for the random selection process, according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The event will take place Dec. 17–19, 2026, in the Conference Center at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. “The choir’s objective is to celebrate the life and birth of Jesus Christ.” There’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than with the music that reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas,” said Tabernacle Choir President Michael O. Leavitt in a statement.

Tickets are free and required for admission to the concerts, which are open to those 8 years old and older. Registration for the choir’s Christmas concert tickets is available on TheTabernacleChoir.org/christmas-tickets from Nov. 2 to Nov. 15, with up to four tickets per household distributed through random selection by Dec. 1. A standby line will form 90 minutes prior to each concert’s 8 p.m. MST start time. A separate Christmas-themed “Music & the Spoken Word” event on Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m. MST will also require free reservations through TempleSquare.org or the Temple Square app.

Concert Details and Broadcast Plans

The 360-voice choir, 200-plus-member Orchestra at Temple Square, and 32 bell ringers will perform in the Conference Center. The live concerts are not available for streaming but will typically be broadcast on PBS and BYUtv the following year, according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The 2025 Christmas concert, titled “Peace on Earth: Christmas With the Tabernacle Choir,” will air on PBS on Dec. 14 and 24, 2025, and will be available on the PBS app, YouTube, and BYUtv through January 2026.

The 2026 concert will also be part of the choir’s 100th anniversary celebration at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring performances from the choir’s “Songs of Hope” tour benefit concert recorded in June, according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Additional Holiday Programming

The choir will also be featured in “The Light of Christmas” holiday special, airing on Dec. 17 on the CW Network, and “Voices of Hope,” a broadcast of its Hollywood Bowl performance on Dec. 26, scheduled for CBS. Guest artists for the Christmas concerts, including Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus, were highlighted in 2025, though details for 2026’s performers remain unannounced. The ‘Light of Christmas’ special will include performances by Kristin Chenoweth, Neal McDonough, Megan Hilty, and Michael Maliakel. The “Voices of Hope” event will also feature the choir’s Dec. 26 Hollywood Bowl concert, a key part of its “Songs of Hope” tour.
