Collectors, curators, and Asian art enthusiasts are preparing for a specialized travel program designed to coincide with Asia Week New York 2027, the Society for Asian Art reported.
Inside the 2027 New York Itinerary and Access
The trip offers privileged access to major auction houses, world-renowned museums, and top-tier Asian art specialists across the metropolitan New York area. Organized in collaboration with Asia Week New York, the itinerary includes curated viewings of major collections and auctions during the annual metropolitan showcase.
Registration for the trip opens in late November and will be announced via email. The forthcoming trip flyer will detail the program overview, tour highlights, brief itinerary, and complete registration and payment instructions. Participation is strictly limited to 20 Society members, and organizers anticipate the roster will fill immediately.
Registration, Fees, and Waiver Requirements
Reservations will be accepted exclusively through an online link provided by the organizers. Participants must complete the registration form, submit full payment, and sign a mandatory participant tour agreement.
Payment options include a no-fee ACH electronic money transfer or a major credit card subject to a 3.9% add-on processing fee. Acceptance is determined strictly by the earliest sign-up date, with a waiting list established once the 20-person capacity is reached.
All participants must execute the Society for Asian Art trip release and waiver of liability agreement. This document includes a release from liability, assumption of risk, and a binding arbitration clause mandated by the tour operator, Travel Muse Inc. The waiver will be sent to participants once their spot is officially confirmed by Travel Muse and the Society for Asian Art.

Members Must Provide Written Notice for Registration Refunds
Under the Society for Asian Art’s cancellation policy, members must provide at least one week’s advance written notice to receive a refund of registration fees. Approved refunds are returned via check in the mail.
This standard cancellation policy explicitly excludes travel programs, which operate under separate guidelines, as well as any specific refund terms noted on individual event pages. Program fees do not include Asian Art Museum entrance fees, which must be paid separately for any events hosted within the museum. Participants also grant the Society for Asian Art consent to be photographed or videoed during the program.
Inquiries regarding the trip, online registration, or payment platforms should be directed to Meg MacDonald of Travel Muse Inc. at (617) 480-0250 or via email at meg@travelmuse.net.
