Meyer Najem Expands Jacksonville Team With New Vice President of Strategy and Growth

Meyer Najem Construction has appointed Teresa “Terry” Stuebben as Vice President of Strategy and Growth for its Southeast Office, expanding its footprint across Northeast Florida. In her new role, Stuebben will focus on strengthening relationships with project owners, design partners, and community leaders throughout the region.

The firm initially established its Southeast Office in Jacksonville in 2021, following years of delivering projects for national clients in the area. Since opening that office, Meyer Najem has assembled a diverse portfolio across Northeast Florida. The team’s completed projects include two outpatient clinics for area veterans, multiple fire stations, a multipurpose emergency preparedness facility, the Howell at the Preserve living community, and various adaptive reuse developments. Its work also features occupied healthcare renovations that require strict adherence to the standards of Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration.

Decades of Local Experience and Civic Leadership

Stuebben brings more than 30 years of experience within Jacksonville’s architecture and construction community. Most recently, she served as Director of Healthcare for a national design-build firm, helping secure more than $1 billion in projects across the Jacksonville metropolitan area. Alongside her professional career, she has held leadership positions in several local civic and industry organizations, including serving as chair of Downtown Vision Inc., sitting on the Jacksonville Housing and Community Development Commission, and leading both NAIOP Northeast Florida and CREW Jacksonville.

“What drew me to Meyer Najem is its commitment to Jacksonville. This team is here for the long term, and it lives out its promise of Building Strength in Community,” Stuebben said. “Jacksonville has incredible momentum, and I’m proud to help Meyer Najem grow here and build projects that make our city better.”

Founded in 1987 in Fishers, Indiana, Meyer Najem transitioned to a 100% employee-owned model in 2024. Ryan Soots, President of the firm’s Southeast Office, pointed to Stuebben’s background as a strong alignment with company values.

“Our approach in Jacksonville is the same one that has guided Meyer Najem for nearly 40 years: build strong relationships, do what we say we’ll do, and make a lasting difference in every community we serve,” Soots said. “Terry shares those values. Her deep connections here and her commitment to this city make her a natural fit for our team.”

The firm operates its Southeast Office at 8647 Baypine Road, Suite 106, in Jacksonville.
