Jennifer Lawrence Steps Out in New York After Confirming Breast Lift and Face-Lift Plans
Jennifer Lawrence was spotted pushing her son in a stroller through New York City on Wednesday, wearing a striking chartreuse coat, a white t-shirt, loose dark pants, and comfortable shoes. The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress completed her casual look with a low ponytail secured by a thick scrunchie, black sunglasses, and a brown woven tote bag.
The daytime sighting follows a wide-ranging cover story published Tuesday by The Cut, in which Lawrence openly copped to undergoing a breast lift. She shares two sons—Cy, 4, and a 19-month-old—with her husband, art dealer Cooke Maroney. I want to be a sexy mom,
she told the outlet, adding, At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her shit together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my shit together.
The topic of cosmetic procedures is not entirely new for the actress. Lawrence previously hinted at her post-pregnancy body changes in an October 2025 interview with The New Yorker, remarking that while everything bounced back after her first child, second one, nothing bounced back.
When asked by The Cut whether she would still pursue the surgery if she were not a famous actress, Lawrence mused that while she might not be hustling to appointments quite as urgently, she likely still would.
Beyond her recent surgery, Lawrence revealed plans to undergo a face-lift in the future. Her transparency regarding cosmetic work extends to her face as well. She told Vogue last month that she uses baby Botox
in moderation to maintain facial movement for acting, noting that even if her skin is slightly saggier than preferred, she wants it to look dewy and pretty. However, she expressed hesitation about fat transfers, telling the magazine, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.
Magazine Cover Sparks Social Media Debate over Haircare Launch
The profile in The Cut also served as a platform to promote Lawrence’s new biodesigned haircare brand, Mes, created in partnership with Arcaea founder and CEO Jasmina Aganovic. The accompanying photo spread, shot by Bryce Anderson, sparked significant discussion and viral reactions across social media platforms like X, where users debated the understated styling of the cover image.
Addressing rumors regarding financial stability behind her entrepreneurial move, Lawrence told The Cut that starting a new company to get rich feels like jumping off a cruise ship to land on a door,
noting that signing up for a major franchise would serve as a much smarter exit plan.
