Boise State Women's Volleyball Swept by Oregon State in Pac-12 Matchup

Boise State women’s volleyball was swept by visiting Oregon State in three sets at the Bronco Gymnasium, falling 25-20, 25-20, and 25-19. The Broncos struggled with attack errors and the Beavers’ strong net play throughout the night. The match took place in Bronco Gym, dropping the Broncos to 15-10 overall and 7-5 in Pac-12 play, while Oregon State improved to 13-9 and 8-3 in the conference.

The Beavers capitalized on early mistakes to seize control. Oregon State jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the opening set before Boise State responded with consecutive kills from Azlynn Tittmann and Savannah Sheridan to take an 8-6 advantage. Melia Barlow followed with a service ace to make it 9-8. Following two successful Oregon State challenges that overturned Broncos points, the score tied at 10-10. The Beavers then pulled away to a 17-12 lead and closed out the first set 25-20. Boise State committed 11 attack errors in the opening frame, while Oregon State recorded seven blocks.

The second set mirrored the first as early Broncos errors gifted Oregon State its first four points. Boise State fought back to within one point at 19-18 following an ace from Jenelle Legates. WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Boise State vs. Oregon State | November 4, 2026

After the match, Boise State head coach Shawn Garus pointed to difficulties handling serves.

Oregon State played really well and we looked a little bit rattled in serve receive, Garus said. But I believe in this group to be resilient and we will get back to work tomorrow.

Reflecting on the team’s mindset entering the contest, Weinert mentioned the desire to sustain momentum. I think all the momentum from last week, we really tried to carry over into this week, Weinert said. I was still on a high from all that excitement from those games last week, all those wins.

Looking ahead, the schedule offers no relief for the Broncos. Garus highlighted the upcoming challenge, stating, I’m excited for the opportunity to take on Colorado State on Saturday. They are the top team in the conference. They’re going to be hosting the conference tournament, so I look forward to putting our team in that environment. Boise State travels to face conference-leading Colorado State on November 7 at noon Mountain Time.
