Florida and Georgia Release Availability Report for Neutral-Site Showdown
The availability report for Florida and Georgia is officially out ahead of their annual rivalry matchup, revealing six players listed for the Gators and zero formally ruled out, though two remain doubtful for Saturday’s kickoff. Saturday Down South reported that the upcoming clash between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs moves indoors to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Halloween afternoon.
Gamesmanship or Genuine Concern at Quarterback?
Both Aaron Philo and Tramell Jones appear as questionable on the initial availability report. Philo, who started Games 1 through 6, missed the upset win over Texas due to a shoulder injury suffered against South Carolina. Tramell Jones took over the starting reins against the Longhorns, completing 22 of 35 passes for 155 yards, two touchdowns, and rushing 10 times for 41 yards. Head coach Jon Sumrall noted on Monday that Jones is currently dealing with standard bumps and bruises. Listing both passers as questionable allows Florida to maintain tactical ambiguity regarding their offensive leadership right up until game day.

Offensive Boost Expected with Vernell Brown III
While running back Jadan Baugh anchors the offensive production, the return of wide receiver Vernell Brown III provides a critical vertical element that has been absent during his three-game absence. In games against Missouri and South Carolina, opponents aggressively loaded the box to challenge the Gators to beat them deep. Sumrall indicated that Brown practiced throughout the week and is listed as probable for Saturday’s contest, offering a much-needed downfield threat.
Former Commits Featured on Georgia’s Injury Report
The injury ledger on the Georgia side features two notable former Florida commitments. Amaris Williams initially pledged to the Gators in the summer of 2023 before decommitting amid a late-season losing streak, eventually landing at Auburn and later transferring to Georgia. A knee injury sustained in spring camp leaves him sidelined and listed as out. Running back Chauncey Bowens committed to Florida in September 2022 before decommitting in June 2023. A foot injury has sidelined Bowens for the last two games, resulting in a questionable designation for Saturday.
