Hamilton Zanze Sells Indigo 19 Apartment Community in Virginia Beach
San Francisco-based real estate investment firm Hamilton Zanze announced the sale of Indigo 19, a 196-unit Class A apartment community located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, according to Hamilton Zanze reporting covered by multifamilybiz.com. The firm originally sponsored the property’s acquisition in January 2020 before completing the transaction.
The disposition marks the second property sale for Hamilton Zanze in 2026. Anthony Ly, senior director of transactions at the firm, pointed to regional market dynamics as a driving factor behind the deal. “We’re pleased with the sale of Indigo 19 following a competitive process that delivered a positive outcome for our investors,” Ly said in a statement provided to Business Wire. He added that limited new supply and ongoing rent growth have supported the Virginia Beach apartment sector, establishing a favorable environment for multifamily investment.
