Boise State and Texas State Collide in a Crucial Pac-12 Showdown
The No. 20 Boise State Broncos enter Saturday night with a 6-1 record and a firm inside track for a College Football Playoff berth, hosting the 5-3 Texas State Bobcats in a first-ever meeting between members of the reconstituted Pac-12 Conference. Kickoff is set for 10:00 PM ET on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, with the game broadcast on the CW and available to live stream on Fubo.
Both teams arrive carrying momentum after narrow escapes and hard-fought victories last week. Maddux Madsen capped a 15-play, 70-yard drive with a six-yard scoring pass to Cam Bates early in the fourth quarter, while Dylan Riley iced the outcome with long rushing touchdowns of 33 and 72 yards. Riley finished the game with 128 yards and two scores on 13 carries.
Texas State enters the matchup following a 20-17 home victory over Utah State, secured by Jacob Bonilla’s 37-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining on the clock. Jaylen Jenkins jump-started the Bobcats early with a 100-yard kickoff return in the first quarter, and Brad Jackson added a three-yard touchdown run in the third. Jackson completed 27 of 37 passes for 167 yards, while Torrance Burgess Jr. ground out 51 yards on 10 rushing attempts.
