Concertgoers in the Midwest are scrambling to adjust their plans after girl group Katseye abruptly postponed upcoming performances in Chicago and Minneapolis, with rollingstone.com reporting that member Megan Skiendiel is recovering from a concussion.
Tour Stops Canceled as Concussion Sidelines Member
The sudden halt affects two major arena stops on the North American leg of the group’s Wildworld Tour, which launched on October 13 and ran through November 28.
The group was originally slated to take the stage at Chicago’s United Center on the evening of November 5, followed by a performance at Minneapolis’ Target Center on Saturday, November 7.

Venues and Band Break the News Online
Venues initially shared the postponement notices on their respective social media accounts before the group addressed ticket holders directly via Instagram.
“The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion,” the members wrote in an Instagram Story.

Acknowledging the logistical hurdles for fans who had arranged travel, the group added, “We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you’ve been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there. We don’t take that lightly, and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment.”
Next Steps for Ticket Holders and Management
Ticket holders have been instructed to retain their stubs as management works to finalize new dates.

“We’ll announce the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, so please hold on to your tickets,” the group stated.

KATSEYE has postponed two shows in Chicago and Minneapolis on their current “Wildworld” tour due to member Megan Skiendiel’s illness. A String of Health Interruptions and Lineup Shifts
This latest interruption follows a similar cancellation earlier in the week in Detroit, where Katseye called off a Little Caesars Arena performance hours before showtime, citing at the time that Skiendiel was unwell with an unspecified illness. Earlier in the year, Skiendiel also suffered a sprained ankle, which forced the group to withdraw from Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival.
In August, six months after Manon Bannerman announced an indefinite break to focus on mental health, Sophia Laforteza also stepped away temporarily for the same reason. Laforteza is anticipated to rejoin the lineup in January, while Bannerman’s return timeline remains undisclosed.
As a result, Skiendiel, Yoonchae Jeong, Lara Raj, and Daniela Avanzini have been performing as a four-piece ensemble for the duration of the current tour run.
