Roxborough Arts Council Launches 2026 Colorado Gives Day ,000 Campaign

Roxborough Arts Council Sets $10,000 Goal for Colorado Gives Day 2026

Art needs more than walls. It requires venues for display, chances for production, an audience ready to engage, and a neighborhood that supports the expansion of artistic expression. That is the central pitch behind a fundraising campaign launched by the Roxborough Arts Council as part of Colorado Gives Day 2026.

The organization, operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, set a target to raise $10,000 by December 8. The funds are earmarked to create more opportunities for art, artists, and community.

The Roxborough Arts Council has been uniting creators and the public since 2007 by hosting exhibitions, offering art instruction, installing public art, running youth initiatives, hosting complimentary receptions, and providing access to original pieces.

At the center of these efforts is the ROX Arts Gallery. Every financial contribution received during the Colorado Gives Day window supports the nonprofit’s mission to promote art, education, and community engagement.

What Funding Means for Local Artists and Public Programs

The Roxborough Arts Council offers local artists venues to showcase their pieces, network with buyers, gather critiques, and integrate into a thriving network of makers.

For visitors and residents, the funding maintains welcoming environments through exhibitions and free monthly receptions where the public can discover original art and meet the people who make it. Educational outreach forms another core pillar of the nonprofit’s mission. Donations help pass creativity forward by supporting art classes, youth projects, and educational opportunities designed for participants of different ages and experience levels.

Beyond the gallery doors, support helps push creative programming out into the open. Programs like youth art endeavors and Art Encounters integrate artistic expression into shared spaces, increasing the presence of art in daily local experiences.

The fundraising window remains open from November 1 through December 8. Organizers note that contributions of any size—whether $25, $100, $500, or more—go toward strengthening the creative community surrounding the council and the ROX Arts Gallery.
