Josh Allen and James Cook led the Buffalo Bills to a 33-30 victory against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on October 18, 2026. The win handed Las Vegas its third straight loss despite a fourth-quarter comeback effort featuring strong passing performances from quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Buffalo Survives Late Raiders Surge
The Buffalo Bills secured a 33-30 win against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, overcoming a late fourth-quarter tie. Buffalo never trailed after the third quarter, when quarterback Josh Allen evaded pass rushers to flip a 12-yard touchdown pass to receiver Keon Coleman.
I was just trying to make a play,
Allen said afterward. They played really good defense.
Allen said he kind of stepped up in the pocket
and felt someone coming from the left side. He stepped back with quick eyes, saw an open guy and gave him a chance.
Allen finished the game with 255 passing yards on 23-of-33 passing. Running back James Cook provided a steady ground game, churning out 99 yards on 22 carries.

After the Raiders tied the game 23-23 midway through the fourth quarter, Cook took control on the ensuing drive. He gained 52 of the possession’s 62 yards, capping it with a three-yard touchdown run where he powered through contact near the line of scrimmage.
Raiders Rally Falls Short in Final Minutes
Kirk Cousins went toe-to-toe with Allen, completing 23 of 41 pass attempts for 313 yards.

Las Vegas faced a 10-point deficit late in the game following Coleman’s touchdown. That score came on a short field after linebacker Dorian Williams intercepted Cousins over the middle.
We definitely gave away points there,
Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said of the game’s only turnover.
Despite the miscue, the Raiders mounted two consecutive scoring drives. Wide receiver Tre Tucker repeatedly found space in the final quarter, finishing with five receptions for 97 yards.
With 1:32 remaining on the clock, Cousins launched a 44-yard deep ball to Tucker for a touchdown, keeping Las Vegas within striking distance.
I came off the field and I said, ‘I think he’s faster than I realized he is,’
Cousins said of Tucker. And there’s time where I just need to launch and he’ll go get it. He showed me that again today.
Bills Seal the Win With Late Kick
Following Tucker’s touchdown, the Bills recovered an onside kick, allowing them to run out the remaining time.

Prior to that, Allen drove Buffalo back into scoring range. Cook drove Buffalo back into scoring range, setting up Tyler Bass for a 38-yard field goal on the first play after the two-minute warning that all but secured the victory.
Buffalo’s defense focused heavily on tight end Brock Bowers, limiting him for much of the game. Bowers finished with four catches for 70 yards, with two catches and 47 yards coming during the late-game deficit.
Fellow tight end Michael Mayer paced the Raiders’ targets earlier in the contest, pulling in seven receptions for 97 yards. The loss drops Las Vegas to a 3-3 record heading into the next stretch of the season.
