Mamparam HSS secured first place in Saturday’s initial science drama contests as the Kannur District Science Festival opened its main competitions across four venues in Taliparamba. T.K. Taliparamba Municipality Chairman P.K. Subeir led an introductory event ahead of the opening day of events on Saturday that featured science drama contests. Taliparamba is hosting four distinct venues for the Kannur District Science Festival, bringing together students and teachers for competitive academic showcases.
Venues at Muthedath and Seethi Sahib Higher Secondary Schools
Muthedath Higher Secondary School serves as the primary location for the high school science fair alongside educator competitions. Meanwhile, Seethi Sahib HSS hosts the mathematics fair, which includes various high school competitions and primary teachers’ aided construction events. Seyyad HSS handles the high school practical skills fair, bringing hands-on technical challenges to the district lineup.
Tagore Vidyaniketan Government Higher Secondary School Competitions
Tagore Vidyaniketan Government Higher Secondary School manages a broad spectrum of the festival schedule. The campus hosts the social science fair, local history interviews, and history seminars across high school and higher secondary sections, including high school section still and working models. The venue also accommodates teachers’ aided competitions spanning upper primary, high school, and higher secondary levels, together with the IT fair.
Organizers scheduled the official closing ceremony and prize distribution for the following day for the multi-venue district competition covering science, mathematics, social science, practical skills, and IT disciplines.
