Roads and Transport Authority Secures Government Sector Prize

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority took home the government institutional prize for embedding the Dubai-it philosophy across its public infrastructure and transit services according to official announcements. The organization completed major transport arteries, bridges, and tunnels at twice the global average speed and efficiency while maintaining lower costs.

Iconic projects such as the Infinity Bridge illustrate this rapid development model. Across the broader transit network, Dubai Metro maintained a 99.7% punctuality rate while expanding routes and upgrading stations. The authority also introduced artificial intelligence-supported autonomous taxis, established an air taxi station, and extended dedicated cycling tracks throughout the city.

The authority executed numerous rapid improvements and delivered services with exceptional efficiency. Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, chairman of the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, noted that the annual prize highlights individuals and institutions that embody this performance philosophy through concrete actions and tangible results.
