In Denmark, peak coverage obscured approximately 84 percent of the solar disk, while Stockholm clouds allowed spectators to catch about 83 percent of the obscured sun.

In Iceland’s capital of Reykjavik, hotel room prices surpassed $1,000 per night, soaring 212 percent above the city’s average rate for 2026, according to data from UK firm Lighthouse.
