Sohini Paul, the daughter of the late actor Tapas Paul, recently addressed her personal life, marriage plans, and thoughts on family during a special interview following her exit from the reality television show Bigg Boss, according to Hindustan Times Bangla.

Reflecting on Marriage and Independence

Approaching the final phase of her thirties, Sohini Paul opened up about societal views on singlehood and aging without a traditional family structure. While acknowledging that she is not opposed to the concept of relationships, she clarified that marriage was never a strict roadmap for her life.

My marriage or finding a life partner has no negative opinion against it. But to be honest, I didn’t have any particular advance planning about it. I am in my late thirties, unmarried, and I don’t have any children.

When the interviewer playfully reminded her about children, she smiled and added that while she lacks a human child, she has fur babies at home, according to Hindustan Times Bangla.

Sohini Paul Rejects Pressure to Find Relationship

Addressing the pressures often placed on single women by society, Sohini Paul rejected the idea of entering a relationship simply out of a sense of running out of time or to meet external expectations. She emphasized that her daily routine—ranging from reading good books and listening to music to traveling alone and taking her mother to the cinema—provides a rich and peaceful existence rather than leaving her feeling incomplete.

Asked whether someone special currently holds a place in her life, she smiled and confirmed that there is no one at the moment, though she remains open to welcoming a partner if the right person arrives in the future, according to Hindustan Times Bangla.
