Offensive lineman Brady Christensen returned to practice for the Panthers after being designated to return from injured reserve.
Christensen Provides Versatility to Offensive Front
Christensen worked with teammates during Tuesday’s session.
He offers the offensive front experienced depth and versatility following a 2025 season where he appeared at center, guard, and tackle. Head coach Dave Canales did not establish a fixed role for the BYU product moving forward.
“It’s a matter of figuring out whether Brady’s ready to play, and how he would help us in that matter,” Canales said. “But I’m not going to get into the specifics of the group right now.”

Panthers Manage Injuries at Left Guard Position
The Panthers managed without starting left guard Damien Lewis at Tuesday’s practice.
Lewis missed last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers due to a knee injury, while his replacement, Corey Bullock, exited in the third quarter with a quadriceps strain. Canales described Lewis as day-to-day.

Lewis Works to Prove Readiness for Active Lineup
“We’re battling to try to get Damien to see where he’s at,” Canales said.
“Today, he wasn’t able to get out at practice, but he moved around some earlier. It’s just a day-to-day thing. And if I know D-Lew, he’s going to want to get out there with his teammates, but he’s got to prove it.”
Lewis must demonstrate he can move effectively and ensure his knee is stable before returning to the active lineup as the offense works to build consistency down the stretch.
