Pierre Wade Arraigned in Stow Municipal Court After Medical Delays

A series of medical postponements pushed the arraignment of 36-year-old Pierre Wade to Friday in Stow Municipal Court, nearly two weeks after police discovered his partner dead inside her suburban residence. Wade faces a murder charge for the deadly shooting of Larretta Allison, whose body was recovered by law enforcement officers responding to a tenant issue on October 28, WOIO reported.

Stow police officers entered the home in the 4000 block of Vira Road alongside the property’s landlord. Investigators subsequently determined that Allison, 36, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had been dead for several days inside the residence.

Family members arrived at the Vira Road home while officers were still processing the scene, having grown alarmed after losing contact with Allison. The initial discovery triggered a multi-day manhunt across Northeast Ohio as local authorities worked to locate Wade and his vehicle.

Manhunt and Arrest in Cleveland

On October 30, the Stow Police Department issued a be-on-the-lookout notice to regional law enforcement agencies. The alert targeted both Wade and the specific vehicle he was operating at the time.

Members of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office located Wade within the city of Cleveland and took him into custody without further incident. Stow Police Captain Bryan Snavely confirmed that investigators recovered a handgun from inside Wade’s car during the arrest.

Wade is currently held at the Summit County Jail. While the initial court proceedings faced three separate reschedulings due to an unspecified medical issue, Friday’s appearance in Stow Municipal Court moves the judicial process forward as prosecutors begin presenting the state’s case.
