A Career Defined by Observational Comedy

Seinfeld’s transition to a Las Vegas residency follows a career deeply rooted in stand-up and television production. Beyond his eponymous hit sitcom, which fundamentally changed 90s television, he has remained a consistent presence in the comedy world. His body of work includes the 1998 HBO special “I’m Telling You for the Last Time” and his more recent Netflix contributions, “Jerry Before Seinfeld” (2017) and “23 Hours to Kill” (2020). The comedian’s creative footprint extends to the 2002 documentary “Comedian,” as well as his popular web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and his writing credit on “Bee Movie.” By bringing his act to the Encore Theater, Seinfeld joins a long line of performers who have utilized the Las Vegas residency model to provide a curated, consistent experience for fans who travel specifically for their shows.
