Kentucky Swimming and Diving Hosts Ohio State for Annual Pink Meet at Lancaster Aquatic Center
The Kentucky swimming and diving teams return to competition Friday evening, hosting Ohio State at 5 p.m. ET at the Lancaster Aquatic Center for their annual pink meet. Spectators attending the free event are encouraged to wear pink in support of the occasion.
The matchup brings two nationally ranked programs to Lexington following a week off for the Wildcats. Both squads were voted into the top 25 rankings for the first time since preseason 2023.
Recognizing Record-Breakers in Lexington
Friday’s event features a special presentation recognizing record-breaking performers, both new and old. Among those honored is sophomore Falemana Tufuui, a native of France who established the 50 free record in the 2025-26 season as a freshman. Tufuui holds the record of 18.89, marking the first Wildcat to ever break 19 seconds.
Additional team members slated for recognition include Cayden Pitzer for his performance in the 200 breast. The 400 free relay team of Tufuui, Lysander Osman, Justin Peresse, and AJ Terry will also be acknowledged for their records.
Athletes are using the meet to continue to get faster. With the midseason meet coming up before the holidays, Kentucky has been training extra hard to get the results they want to achieve in the later half of the 2027 season.
Live results for Friday’s dual meet are available through the Meet Mobile App. Admission to all home swimming and diving events at the Lancaster Aquatic Center is free for the public throughout the season.
