Las Vegas is locking in major live entertainment expansions for 2027, with Rush securing a residency at Sphere, Tim McGraw extending his run at Caesars Palace, and Flo Rida locking down a New Year’s Day appearance at the Palms.
Rush Brings Career-Spanning Set to Sphere
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced a five-show residency at Sphere titled “Elevate From the Norm.” The performances are scheduled for May 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30, 2027. The engagement marks the band’s first extended engagement in Las Vegas and one of its most ambitious projects since resuming activity after the 2020 death of drummer and lyricist Neil Peart from brain cancer.
Lee stated that the venue’s visual capabilities felt like the right match for the band’s design team. The setlist is slated to draw across the band’s catalog, with plans to perform the classic albums 2112 and Moving Pictures in full alongside other material. Lee and Lifeson will be joined on stage by drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, both part of the ongoing “Fifty Something” tour that has surpassed 1 million ticket sales.
Lifeson has previously credited a 2022 backstage conversation with Paul McCartney as a key encouragement for the band to return to live performances. The engagement follows Rush’s last Las Vegas stop in July 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena during the “R40” tour.

Tim McGraw Adds Five More Colosseum Dates
Tim McGraw announced five additional “Tim McGraw: Live in Las Vegas” shows during his performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The newly added dates are set for May 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29, 2027. The announcement follows his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and over 106 million records sold worldwide.

Reflecting on the physical demands of the run while speaking to the crowd, McGraw remarked, “That’s a lot, for an old guy.” Presales for the Caesars Palace dates began for McGrawONE+ fan club members and Citi cardmembers, with Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation All Access customers following. General public sales open at 10 a.m. Monday on Ticketmaster.
